Where One Sits

A mountain can from many points
look down on land below

But where one sits will no more tell
the ifs of come and go

A beach might seem the place to be
unknown and out of sight

But where one sits will no more tell
the greys from black and white

A valley on the other hand
is even by design

But where one sits will still not tell
what’s yours and what is mine
