That’s No Moon

This is what you get when you snap a picture of a total lunar eclipse about 20 minutes after guzzling a 4-shot latte.

Tipping Point

Mt. Hood at sunset… captured 20 yards from our house.  A high tide of clouds rolled in to cover most of the mountain, but the summit remained - appearing as an island!  Pinks and blues swirled the sky above as western twilight battled a bright moon hanging low on our eastern horizon.

Star Wars

We took the kids to OMSI - Oregon Museum of Science & Industry - to see the Star Wars exhibit.  Tons of original costumes and props, along with many videos, interactive games…  Haley met Boba Fett and also a Storm Trooper.   Logan enjoyed a long ride in his stroller and he loved the stuffed animals in the gift store. The place was packed.  The museum sits on the east side of the Willamette river, facing downtown Portland across the water.  We saw the new Tram floating up the hillside to OHSU.  The sun was on our side all the way.  On the drive home, the kids passed out in the back seat with their Ampa Ron right between them.
