With thousands of photos blogged on this site, I think there are less than 10 shots of Tasha, me, and the boys… all together. Kevin & clan rolled into Oregon after a long roadtrip loop around Yellowstone and up through Montana. The Canadians wouldn’t have’em, but we didn’t mind lettin’ such fine family shack up with us for a night. The cousins played with each other, and I had a chance to spend time with my big bro. You should have seen his face when our waitress at Elmer’s told him that his credit card had been declined. Haley was happy they left a whole bag of Cheetos & 2 Kit Kats. We had a Splenda time.
Caitlin and her best friend, Kristen, visited Portland. We spent the day at Reed College, Lewis & Clark College, and Portland State University and then we talked into the wee hours of the night - about life, God, and much in between. What bright girls! I’m so proud of them (and lucky to be related).
Ampa Greg and Amma Megan were in town for 2 days of house hunting. We drove to Hood River, crossed the Columbia river, and returned on the Washington side of the Gorge. Halfway home we crossed back on the Bridge of the Gods and stopped for fudge in Cascade Locks. While Haley snoozed, we zipped over to Sandy and then breezed past Damascus and Boring. And after all that… Wilsonville has the edge!
