The Yankees played their final innings at the Gresham Little League Jamboree. That coincided with Ampa Denny’s birthday, so Haley wanted to dedicate his last at bat to his Ampa. His ‘baseball genes’ came from his Ampa Denny, who was an all-star player in Arizona in his youth. Haley hit a double on his last swing and he made the last put-out of the game playing third base.
