Logan Berry

Logan’s teacher couldn’t resist snapping this one – he had blueberries all over his face and of course he could care less. It’s a great time of year to live in Oregon. We have endless bounties of berries and plenty of lazy afternoons for the kids to ‘bury’ their faces nose-deep.

On My Way

It’s official. Haley is now a 1st grader. He prefers we mention that upfront, and comment on the ‘kindergarten’ graduation thereafter. Everybody he sees, from our neighborhood to the grocery store, receives the same salutation,”Did you know that I’m in 1st grade?” Let’s just hope this enthusiasm for school holds root!

The Yankees played their final innings at the Gresham Little League Jamboree. That coincided with Ampa Denny’s birthday, so Haley wanted to dedicate his last at bat to his Ampa.
