Santa Claws
Dec 25th
Christmas morning was a joy. Haley bounded downstairs and his face lit up when he saw clear evidence that Santa and his crew had not forgotten our home on his annual trek across the globe. Logan was also up early – fooling around in his crib totally unaware of the festivities that were about to occur. When he saw the spread under the tree he reached for the most appropriate of his 7-word vocabulary, “Woooowwww”. We wanted to get more pix, but it was such a precious moment I don’t think Tasha and I really wanted to limit our eyes to a camera peep hole. I think these two shots, though, share the mood.

Tree Hunt
Dec 12th
The whole family went hunting for a Christas Tree and we didn’t have to travel far. Oregon is the global epicenter of Douglas and Noble Firs and within 10 miles of our house you’ll find dozens of tree farms. Haley was annointed the ‘Master Selector’ this year and he chose wisely. Tall, full, strong… and it fit on the roof of our car. Logan was just happy to break curfew and break-in his new winter hat.
Sing Sang Sung
Dec 6th
All of the students at West Gresham performed a series of holiday tunes for the annual Christmas show while flash-happy parents gazed proudly. Amma Margee and I tried to get some pix (Ampa Richard babysat Logan & a headcold), but a dark gym and constant kid motion didn’t mix well. We did, however, capture Haley with his 1st grade teacher!
